Zig Wiedemann re-joined Huntington Mechanical Laboratories, Inc. in May 2000
as Chief Information Officer. He has more than 30 years of information
technology, strategic planning, and production management experience in the
manufacturing, financial, and entertainment sectors. He also works as an independent
consultant in the area of Technology Implementation to a varied group of
corporate, educational, and not-for-profit organizations.
From May 1994 to May 2000, he served as a Senior Technology Implementation
Consultant with American Business Solutions of Beverly Hills, CA. From 1991 to
1994, he was Director of Information Services for Breslauer, Jacobson, Rutman
& Sherman the leading business management firm serving the entertainment
industry. Prior to that, Mr. Wiedemann spent five years as an independent
consultant designing, implementing, and managing database applications for
manufacturing companies.
From 1978 thru 1986 he held positions of Production Control Manager,
Production Manager, and Manager of Information Services for Huntington
Laboratories. He was responsible for planning, designing, and implementing
Huntington Laboratories' initial information technology infrastructure,
including database design, engineering CAD implementation, in-house publishing
activities and business applications design and development.
He holds APICS certification in Production Control and Inventory Management,
is a Certified Data Professional, and a Certified Computer Programmer. He
earned his BSC degree in Business Administration/Finance from Santa Clara
University and has completed the coursework for his Masters degree in
Organization Development from Pepperdine University.
