Packing Suggestions

A resource table will be available in the Community Café, so do bring information about your organization, your practice, what you've published, etc., for others to see or have.

Members of the social group suggest that you bring a windbreaker and a flashlight. And for Saturday night's festivities, they suggest any of the following:

Your favorite hat, mask, or decorative headgear or…

Materials to make a hat, mask, or other decorative wearable, such as fabric scraps, yarn, glitter, feathers, beads, small scissors, stapler, scotch tape, glue, markers, etc.

Driving Directions

For driving instructions and a more detailed map from the San Francisco, San Jose or Monterey airports, check out Pajaro's web site at: http://www.pajarodunes.com/where.html . You can also download a map for your own itinerary from Mapquest at http://www.mapquest.com

Airport shuttle services:

Pajaro Dunes recommends Early Bird Airport Shuttle Service for any of the three airports (San Jose, San Francisco, Monterey) (831) 462-3933.

Other shuttles:

City Express, 1.888.874-8885, will take up to 6 people from San Francisco to Pajaro for $105. Reservations at least 48 hours in advance (with credit card) and 24 hour cancellation.

M & M, 415.552-3200, will take up to 7 people for $200. Reservations 24 hours ahead.

Ride-sharing

If you want to share a ride, or have room for another person in your car, check out the MSOD web site, where ride sharing is "self-organizing."

 

When You Arrive

When you arrive go to the following location to collect your conference information packet (whether you are staying at Pajaro or elsewhere.) If you're staying at Pajaro, your room information and key will be in this packet, for one-stop registration. If you're arriving…

Thursday, 3-5:30 or 6pm go to the MSOD registration table at the Pajaro office

Thursday after 5:30 or 6pm - go to the Pajaro guard gate at the main entrance.

Friday or later - go to the Pajaro office.
