Why Level IV?

Sometimes people ask us about our name.
Why
Level IV?

Because we like to operate at four levels and we can measure our work at four levels.

four levels of consulting --- four levels of measurement

Four Levels of Consulting

Personal Level

Development at this level includes better understanding of one’s self and one’s role in the organization. It creates an understanding of how our personal behavioral tendencies impact our approaches to problem solving, our relationships with others and, in fact, our view of life in general.

Our work at the personal level is designed to develop individuals in your organization in alignment with your company’s mission. Skill development at the personal level includes training in such areas as time management, business writing and presentation skills.

Interpersonal Level

Without question, how individuals in an organization relate to one another and to customers can create sustainable competitive advantage. We will help you create that advantage by developing systems of communication, negotiation agreements, conflict management, giving and receiving feedback, and handling emotional situations. These systems of interpersonal behaviors and skills help create lasting business relationships with customers and save time and stress by giving individuals and teams the ability to address tough internal issues effectively.

Managerial Level

In addition to personal and interpersonal skills, managers often need help in clarifying and communicating team missions, goals and structures. Our consultants provide managers with expertise in the areas of team development, delegation and employee involvement, managing performance, coaching and negotiating inter-group agreements.

Organizational Level

Clarifying and communicating organizational mission and goals and aligning your structures and systems with them is critical to your success. Our consultants’ expertise in such areas as performance management, compensation, management and development systems helps you target your efforts and create competitive advantage.

Four Levels of Measurement

Reaction

This level of measurement determines if individuals in the organization perceive the developmental effort positively.

Learning

Here we measure the level of learning resulting from the developmental effort at an intellectual level. In other words, did we communicate clearly?

Behavior

This measurement examines whether behavior of members of the organization has changed as a result of the developmental effort. Simply put... "Are we doing things differently?"

Results

The big question. Did you achieve the results you wanted as a result of the developmental effort? That’s Level IV, and it’s not only our name but it’s our focus and our commitment to you!
